Internal leaders take on C-suite positions to strategically align departments to customer needs
AUSTIN — Jan. 13, 2025 — Buildxact, a global software as a service company that provides a simple solution for dealers, residential builders and remodelers to better manage and grow their business, announced today, the addition of a c-suite management level to support its global growth plan.
Steve Yates, appointed as CEO in April 2024, is completing organizational restructuring to support a strategic growth leadership model and to further tap the potential of a talented team by inspiring and motivating employees through development opportunities.
Through a month-long process, all new leadership positions were filled internally. The new layer of leadership creates the following seven c-suite positions:
- Ross Watkins moves from manager of customer success to chief experience officer;
- Marissa Wagner is promoted from director of marketing communications to chief marketing officer;
- Chris Jones moves from head of engineering to chief technology officer;
- Olivia Austin is promoted from vice president of people experience to chief people officer;
- Liam Fraser takes the title of chief revenue officer, after serving as executive vice president of sales and marketing;
- Chris Rennie takes the title of chief product officer, after serving as executive vice president, customer experience and product.
“These leadership changes enable us to strategically align our departments and address customer demand while staying true to our mission,” Yates said. “It’s an exciting time at Buildxact. With remodeling forecasts showing moderate growth in the next year, Buildxact construction management software enables builders and remodelers to streamline projects with its lead management, takeoff, estimating, site management and cost tracking features.
Along with the listed promotions and changes, the company added the following new hires:
- Samet Salis, Garret Denney, and Chase Glendenning as sales development representatives;
- Steven Gottlieb as senior director of growth marketing;
- Matt Jewson as customer success manager; and
- Rakesh Verma as go to market systems manager.
